Barb Stanley
Director, Instructor
Barb began dancing at the age of 3 and has been part of the QC family since 1986. She became a member of QC’s competition team, competing in numerous local and national competitions.

Lissa Anderson
Assistant Director, Recreational and Competition Instructor
Lissa began dancing back in 1988 at the age of three at Stage Door of Performing Arts. She spent from 1998 to her graduating year in 2003 competing in top competitions across the nation.
Felicia Sechser
Community Outreach Coordinator, Recreational & Parks and Recreation Instructor
Felicia started dance training at QC Dance at age 3. She participated in competition as well as being a member of TCDC (Twin Cities Dance Court) a non-profit performance company.

Alexa Borderman
Competition Team Instructor, QC Royales All Star Coach

Heather Stencel
Fundraising Coordinator, Birthday Party Coordinator & Recreational Class Instructor
Heather started dance when she was in 6th grade taking tap, ballet, and jazz at QC Dance. In high school she danced on the Blaine Dance Team and was captain her senior year. READ MORE

Haruna Asanuma
Ballet Instructor
Haruna first started dancing at Omaha Academy of Ballet in her hometown, Omaha, Nebraska. In 2010, she moved to London to train at Laban Conservatoire of Contemporary Dance. READ MORE

Tiffany Robinson
Competition Team & Recreational Class Instructor
Tiffany began dancing at Stage Door of the Performing Arts when she was three years old. She started in recreational classes and continued on to dance on the top competition line. READ MORE

Cathy Wind
Tap Competition & Adults Instructor
Cathy Wind is a sought after teacher, choreographer and performer born and raised in the Twin Cities. A Sage nominated educator, Cathy works locally and internationally. READ MORE

Julie Wadey
Recreational & Specialty Class Instructor
Julie started dancing at the age of 6 studying Tap, Modern, Jazz, Ballet and Acrobatics. She began teaching at 15 year old for her Dance Teacher Sylvia Bird, based in the United Kingdom. Julie studied under many associations including AAD, BBO and BTDA. READ MORE

Madison Johnson
Recreational Class Instructor
Madison began dancing at age 3 at Candy King’s School of Dance. She began competing at age 5. After the closing of Candy King’s, Madison joined the QC Dance family at age 9. READ MORE

Emma Featherstone
Recreational Class Instructor
Emma has been dancing at QC for 12 years. She currently is a member of the QC competition team. Emma attends school at The Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Arts. READ MORE

Rachel Lux
Recreational Class Instructor
Rachel Lux is a recent graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, where she earned degrees in dance and elementary education, graduating with honors. While at Gustavus, she spent her years as a member of the Apprentice and Gustavus Dance companies, serving as co-president during her senior year.
