Self Defense

In this 3 week course students will learn how to make good choices to prevent bad situations, how to ward off unwanted advances, and life saving defense moves. This class is a must for all!

Hip Hop

Contemporary hip hop, locking, poppin, and breakin. Great for beginners as well as advanced dancers alike, you will leave the class energized and inspired!

Ninja Camp

This 4 week camp gives boys and girls the opportunity to practice and learn new ‘ninja’ skills. In this hip hop and acro based camp students will work on stamina, flexibility and ‘trick’ moves focusing on technique. Great for kids who like to run and jump around. Girls and Boys ages 4-7 will enjoy this active camp!

Kids Yoga

Students will learn calming yoga moves used to center and control energy. Yoga moves are age appropriate and incorporate fun names to keep it exciting for kids. Students will work on balance, flexibility and strength while moving and holding different yoga poses. This 4 week class is perfect for both boys and girls ages 3-10.

Tiny Techers

A camp for the young dancer interested in increasing dance skills. Highly recommended for those dancers interested in/ or considering a competition team for the 2018-2019 season or in future seasons.

Session will consist of 4 classes including ballet, jazz and tap technique. Like ALL QC classes this session will incorporate FUN with dance!

Tap

Tap is a timeless art that combines dance & percussion. This camp will increase control, coordination, and rhythm, followed by exercises that teach dynamics, shading, phrasing, and musicality, concluding with extended rhythmic phrases and improvisation exercises.

Turns

Love ‘em or hate ‘em turns are an essential part of dance technique. These classes will focus on technique, placement and execution of a multitude of turns including pirouettes, chaines, fouettes, a la seconds, floats, piques and MORE!

Ballet Boot Camp

This camp is designed for dancers wishing to build their technique and passion for the art of ballet. The camp offers basic barre exercises, center practice and variations.

Acro for Dancers

This camp will enhance any dancers skills and technique. In this class dancers will focus on flexibility, strengthening, and acro tricks. Skills focused on may include but are not limited to: leaps, jumps, aerials, front and back walkovers, chin stand, elbow stands, back catches, needles and MORE! Dancers will also focus on conditioning and flexibility. This class is perfect for the dancers looking to add a little edge to their skills.

Improv & Contemporary

Contemporary classes are inspired by an endless array of movement, often combining elements of ballet, modern, jazz & hip-hop with other elements.

Dancers will learn to strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements and stress versatility and improvisation. This class will emphasize cooperation, focus, body lines/alignment, technique and storytelling through movement.

Jumps

Leaps, Firebirds, Toe-touches, c-jumps, callipsos and more! This class will have you flying off the ground! Dancers will learn the proper technique to execute a variety of jumps.

Ballet, Tap & Kids Jazz

ages 5 to 8

Participants will learn basic ballet positions and steps in a relaxed atmosphere where fun and creativity are encouraged. Enjoy some foot stomping and jazz for coordination and rhythm. Discover Dance! Fun for your feet!
